Privacy policy

How the SX Sistemas website and the apps available for download handle your data.

Summary

  • The apps run on your computer. Macros, shortcuts, reminders, workspaces and settings are stored only there.
  • Macro Studio, Optima Studio Alerts! and Optima Studio Stage connect to the internet only to check whether a new version is available.
  • We don't collect usage statistics, show ads, or sell or share personal data.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy covers the website sxsistemas.com.br and the apps distributed through it and through the Microsoft Store:

  • Macro Studio // Keyboard
  • Macro Studio // Mouse
  • Optima Studio // Alerts!
  • Optima Studio // Stage
  • Design Studio // Fonts

The apps are developed by NewRSX, a partner developer, and distributed by SX Sistemas, which is responsible for the data processing described here.

2. Apps

What stays on your computer

Everything you create in the apps is stored locally on your computer: macros, shortcuts, profiles, canned text, reminders, tags, history, window workspaces, fonts and preferences. This information is not sent to SX Sistemas, to the developer or to third parties.

Keyboard and mouse

To work, Macro Studio Keyboard and Macro Studio Mouse need to detect the keys and buttons you press: that's how they recognize a shortcut and run the macro you set up. This processing happens only on your computer, while the app is open. What you type or click is not recorded for sending and is not transmitted over the internet.

Open windows and programs

To save and restore a workspace, Optima Studio Stage reads which windows are open on your computer (the program they belong to, their title, position, size and state), the position and name of your desktop icons and which wallpaper is in use. This information, including the automatic icon backups, is stored only on your computer and is used only to put everything back in place. Stage doesn't read the content of the windows or of the files on your desktop, doesn't delete, move or rename files and doesn't send this information over the internet.

Update check

Macro Studio Keyboard, Macro Studio Mouse, Optima Studio Alerts! and Optima Studio Stage contact a server over the internet to find out whether a newer version exists. As with any connection, that server receives your computer's IP address and basic technical information, such as the app version. No content you created is sent in this request.

What the apps don't do

  • They don't collect usage statistics or behavior reports.
  • They don't show ads.
  • They don't access your contacts, camera, microphone or location.

How to delete app data

You can delete macros, reminders and other items inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app through Windows removes it from your computer. Because the data stays only on your machine, there is no copy on our servers to delete.

Microsoft Store

If you install an app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles your account, purchase and installation data under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your personal data from Microsoft.

3. Website

Browsing

The website has no sign-up, doesn't use cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising tools.

Like every website, it is hosted by a provider (Hostinger), which automatically logs technical access data such as IP address, date and time, page visited and browser type. These logs are used to keep the website running and secure.

Download counter

Each app page shows its total number of downloads. To avoid counting the same person several times, the website keeps, for a short period of about 6 hours, a code generated from the IP address and the browser. This code can't be used to recover your IP or identify you, and it is deleted after that period. The only thing stored permanently is the total number of downloads for each app.

Google Fonts

The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers. When you open a page, your browser connects to those servers and Google receives your IP address, under Google's privacy policy.

Contact by WhatsApp and email

If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we receive the data you send, such as your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message. We use this data only to reply and follow up on your request. WhatsApp is a Meta service and follows Meta's privacy policy.

Links to other websites

The website links to third-party services, such as the developer's support page on Buy Me a Coffee. When you use those services, their privacy policies apply.

4. What we use data for

  • Keeping the website and downloads working and secure, based on our legitimate interest.
  • Counting downloads of each app, based on our legitimate interest.
  • Replying to your contact and handling proposals or services you request.

We don't use personal data for advertising and we don't build user profiles.

5. Sharing

We don't sell or rent personal data. Data only passes through companies that provide services needed to run the website, such as the hosting provider and Google Fonts, or is handed to authorities when required by law. These providers may process data on servers outside Brazil.

6. How long we keep data

  • Download counter code: about 6 hours.
  • Hosting provider access logs: for the period set by the provider and by law.
  • Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) gives you, among others, the right to confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct it, request its deletion, get information about sharing and object to processing. Depending on where you live, other laws, such as the GDPR, may give you similar rights. To exercise any of them, write to sxsistemasbrasil@gmail.com. You can also contact Brazil's data protection authority (ANPD).

8. Children

The website and the apps are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example when a new app is published or a feature changes. The date at the top of the page shows the version in effect.
